What is the potential housing bubble could mean to Canadian?

Economists don’t like to say we are in a housing bubble. Even though there are economists agree that, the houses are 15% over value but they don’t necessary think it is a bubble waiting to burst.

However, when looking at the market, the value is depends on where you are in life.

Is Canada housing bubble going to burst?

A new survey shows home prices for homes in Canada are raising quickly and some people wondering how hot the housing market really is. When you compared the prices to 2009, that this is not a big surprise. Overall Canada housing is up by 11% across the country.

Toronto and Vancouver housing prices are up by 20%. In Vancouver, a detached bungalow is up 22% with the average price of $900,000. For two-story houses, it cost even more. Continue reading »
