Description: With oil prices increasing, more people are looking for alternative renewable energy. Right now, the renewable energy is about 6% of all US energy consumption like hydropower, solar power and wind. The highest US energy consumption is petroleum at about 40%, next is natural gas at 22%, coal at 23% and about 8% nuclear electric power.

However, there is more and more interest into renewable energy. People like Anna Undgerleder put solar panels on her roof last year and it not only got her electricity meter spinning. It is actually spinning backwards, meaning that the electricity being generated by her solar panels are feeding back to the grid and her head spin every time she gets her electric bill.
